Spotted recently at Orange County Museum of Art’s Chuck Close opening — white roses suspended in vases filled with water.
What do you think of the floral arrangements?

Water submersion does wonderful things to certain objects. Like naked babies. Flowers, though, don’t match water very well.

I don’t think they’re deathly, but this just doesn’t do anything for me.
