Sharon is even auctioning off some designer dresses, jewelry and miscellaneous dinnerware. Following a nasty ATV accident - it’s no wonder that they are giving up a slew of motor sport items including dirt bikes, and four-wheelers. They’re even offering up a BATHTUB - if you can’t be a bat-head biting rockstar, you might as bathe like one!

A public exhibition will be held on Monday, Nov. 26-Thursday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The live and online auction will take place on Friday, Nov. 30 in two sessions, one at 10 a.m. and another at 2 p.m. at The Gibson Guitar Showroom, 9350 Civic Center Drive, Beverly Hills.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation which provides at-home help, childcare, transportation, access to support groups and patient care services offered within Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

As the summer winds down and the big concerts start to become few and far inbetween - LA Weekly presents its 2nd Annual Detour Music Festial on Saturday, October 6. The day-long festival is open to all ages and includes four stages with 20 plus bands performing, DJs and local artists works and more.

The line-up includes: Bloc Party, Justice, Satellite Party, Kinky, Turbonegro, Teddybears, Moving Units, The Ravonettes, Celebrity Skin, The Aliens, THe Aggrolites, DJ Mehdi, Cool Kids, The Deadly Syndrome, Scissors for Lefty, Nico Vega and many more.

Tickets go on-sale at noon on Thursday, Aug. 30 and are $35.50. Gates open at noon and a portinon of the proceeds benefit Tree People.

This Saturday the Orange County punk/metal act, Death By Stereo will be tearing down walls at The Alley (140 W. Wilshire Ave, Fullerton. 714-738-6934) along with L.A.’s Spanish-punk group Union 13.

A little birdie told me today that there are still a few tickets left so don’t wait ’til the night of the show to get your hands on some. The Alley box office is open from 7-10:30 p.m. on the nights they have shows or they can be purchased online through The Alley website.

The show is at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4. Tickets are $12.

Music Saves Lives along with the American Red Cross and The Alley (140W. Wilshire Ave., Fullerton. 714-738-6934) are hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16. All those who donate blood on this date will receive two backstage passes to the Vans Warped Tour when it cruises into the Home Depot Center on Aug. 25.

The Detroit rock duo, The White Stripes is currently on tour promoting it’s newest release “Icky Thump.” The White Stripes only have a couple of Southern California shows, and sadly, none are in Orange County. Tickets are still available for the Wednesday, Sept. 19 gig at The Forum (3900 W. Manchester Blvd., Inglewood. 310-419-3100) via ticketmaster. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $27-$46.

I posted a blog late last week with the info on Social Distortion’s House of Blues shows, and go figure, the band has already added two more dates. I hate to say I told you so, but that means tickets are already selling, and fast!

The band will be at the House of Blues Anaheim Nov. 19-21 and now on Nov. 27. Social Distortion is also playing the House of Blues Sunset Strip, Nov. 24-25 and recently added a gig on Nov. 23. Social Distortion will be hitting up the House of Blues Las Vegas on Dec. 2.

Hey Potter heads! In celebration of the release of the lastest and “final” chapter in the “Harry Potter” book series, “Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows,” Barnes & Noble in Huntington Beach hosts a Midnight Magic Release Party beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, July 20.

Dress up as your favorite “Harry Potter” character, participate in activities, games, trivia and some writing activities, and hang out with other “Potter” fans.

The book will be sold/distributed to those with wristbands (wristband distribution begins at 6 p.m.) right at midnight. Admission to this event is free but the books/wristbands are being sold for $20.99 plus tax, each.
